Absorption and bioavailability of vitamin D3
Due to the awareness of the importance of this vital vitamin, which is actually a hormone, we at Biovis used an innovative and patented microencapsulation technology based on the principle of coacervation and microencapsulated vitamin D3. In this way, we achieved better stability, water solubility and greater bioavailability of vitamin D3.
The coacervate microcapsule is resistant to degradation in acidic and neutral environments and gives vitamin D3 high bioavailability. Microencapsulation achieves targeted delivery to the site of absorption - to the small intestine, where the microcapsule is broken down only by pancreatic enzymes. Optimal absorption is also ensured, as the microencapsulated D3 is already dissolved in a drop of oil and the degree of absorption thus does not depend on the composition of our meal. In addition, there is no puffiness or unpleasant taste after it, and microencapsulation also ensures greater stability of the product (the dry normal form is more prone to oxidation).
Vitamin D3 is obtained from a plant source - deer lichen and is therefore also suitable for vegans.
HEALTH CLAIMS:
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption / use of calcium and phosphorus, to normal levels of calcium in the blood, maintaining healthy bones, muscle function, plays a role in cell division, contributes to maintaining healthy teeth and the functioning of the immune system.
Recommended dosage: One capsule per day (1 × 1); with a glass of water at breakfast.
